Deniz Weber (*1988) is a graphic designer and art director from Düsseldorf, Germany working in between social purpose driven initiatives, streetwear brands, music merchandise and creating happenings within arts&cultural strategies. Studying visual communication at HSD Düsseldorf and HTW Berlin he was Guest Lecturer at KISD University for master students in Integrated Design.Living and working in Berlin he is now creating artworks and visual concepts for various clients like Carhartt W.I.P., NRW Forum, Luvre 47, Central Skate Shop, AFEW, Open Source Festival, Missy Magazine, Forward Festival, Cleptomanicx, Steve Lacy with Carhartt WIP UK, Lord Folter, Deutsche Skateboard Meisterschaft, Element, SNS, KitschKrieg, Trettmann, WizTheMc, The Berrics and many more.
With his curatorial collective _thek - combining his expertise in apparel and graphic design he is hosting happenings, exhibitions and music events.
In the mean time and as social non-profit project Deniz founded with a team of other volunteers the project www.SupportYourLocalDealer.org to support NGO's, social initiatives and projects in financial need like Mission Lifeline, Kaf Kolektif, From_Iran, Aegean Boat Report, LeaveNoOneBehind, StrongerTogether, B-Side, Dein Topf e.V., Karuna Kompass, Projekt Tracksrunner, Verband BRG, BLM Together We Push, Amadeu Antonio Stiftung, Rave Awareness Team, Club Commission Berlin, fiftyfifty Strassenmagazin, Spouts of Water and more.
Deniz is giving workshops all around Germany – mostly with a critical view on society, fashion & consume. Working together with social initiatives like S27, Zakk, Hangar1, Yaya Collective, Rückert Gymnasium, Filmwerkstatt Düsseldorf and many more.
