Deniz Weber (*1988) is a graphic designer and art director from Düsseldorf, Germany. With a background in graffiti, he took sketching and illustrating to another level studying visual communication at HSD Düsseldorf and HTW Berlin. Since then he’s been an essential part of the small team of graphic designers at Carhartt W.I.P. for over five years. Living and working in Berlin he is now creating looks and concepts for various clients like NRW Forum, Open Source Festival, Missy Magazine, Cleptomanicx, Steve Lacy with Carhartt WIP UK, Lord Folter, Deutsche Skateboard Meisterschaft and Element. With his curatorial collective _thek - combining his expertise in apparel and graphic design, happenings, exhibitions and music events some of which take place at ROOOOOM, an art space in Düsseldorf that he co-founded, he is giving workshops for kids and youngsters all around Germany. Since summer of 2019 he is working with the Berlin based producer team KitschKrieg and for the artist Trettmann on artworks for new releases and clothing drops.
In the mean time and as social non-profit project Deniz founded with a team of other volunteers the project www.SupportYourLocalDealer.org to support NGO's and projects in need in the Covid19 crisis.
